Shawna has worked in the health and wellness industry for over 25 years. She started her journey in French culinary cuisine. However, after years in this profession along with her own studies, she could no longer ignore the fact that using this much fat and sugars in dishes was not good for the human body.
After working professionally in some of the top rated restaurants around the world she decided to redirect her focus to nutrition. This brought her to New York City, where she studied at Integrative Nutrition. This venture truly changed her view on how we fuel our bodies. And furthermore, the importance of fitness.
In California she worked for commercial and private gyms as well as furthering her education in this field. At this time her private clientele grew organically into "Shawna Rust Fitness Chef inc".
The company was centered around macro calculated meal prep delivery, health coaching, personal training and seminars relevant to the business.
She still finds time to volunteer at schools, youth camps and community centers to promote conscious eating.
Currently, Shawna is a manager for an International Online Fitness company, V Shred. Living and enjoying the wonderful mountains in Southern California :)
I first met Shawna Rust November 10, 2013. Her attitude impressed me so much that I reached out to learn more about her and especially the vision for her business success. That's when I discovered her impressive entrepreneurial drive for significance.
I, Mark Henderson, am a shareholder in a wellness medicine endeavor called Wellspring360 (i.e. wellspring360.com). I had networked Dr. Tony Ganem (i.e. BodyPro.com) with Wellspring360 and later realized that Shawna was a perfect fit with Dr. Tony's wellness practice. In fact when I set up a first meeting with Dr. Tony and Shawna, he looked over at me after a mere ten minutes to exclaim that I had perceived a hole in his endeavor that Shawna filled nicely. Dr. Tony assesses what his patients should take in as nutrients that avoid any food allergies and that are appropriate for any medical conditions. He provides his patients with a grocery list. Having said that, Dr. Tony is not a chef. Shawna made Dr. Tony's endeavor fun by providing these patients with recipes and instructions on how to cook meals that taste good from his grocery list.
After Shawna recently asked me to provide a reference letter, I texted Dr. Tony and asked for his impressions of Shawna. Dr. Tony responded as follows: "Shawna is an amazing person. I appreciate her. She did bring value to my office, and I wish her blessings in everything she does."
I am so very grateful that my journey crossed paths with Shawna's some time ago.

I met Shawna at a time in my life when I needed some help finding a healthy balance. My hectic schedule and unhealthy eating habits were not leading me in the right direction.
